Peekaboo Poker Published!
Peekaboo is a dice poker game for 2 - 6 players. In this game, each player gets three rolls to create the best poker combination possible to win the pot. Here is the kicker, although players have five dice, two of them are hidden during the round. This enables players to possibly bluff their way to victory.
The two hidden dice, called peekers, can only be rolled once. Players are trying to build their combination around those two dice. During playtesting, we discovered that paying close attention to what opponents choose to keep or re-roll reveals a lot about what the player is trying to do. Keep a sharp eye because players can move quickly to hide that information.
Peekaboo was not my main focus. It was a happy accident that spun off of another dice game I was testing called 76. That game is now on the back burner and Peekaboo has taken center stage.
